Global Tax Reduction Service
Legally reduce your taxes, often to as little as 1%
We design and implement international structures that legally minimize your tax burden, often to as little as 1%, while maintaining compliance across jurisdictions.
How we do it
Three levers
Cross-Border Planning
Reviewing where you live, work, and earn to design the most efficient setup across countries and tax treaties.
Entity Structuring
Creating companies such as LLCs and corporations in the right jurisdictions to lawfully reduce your taxes.
Tax Strategies
Applying recognized tools like tax exemptions and deductions to provide additional ways to minimize taxes.
The principle
Tax follows residence, and residence can be planned
Most countries tax their residents on worldwide income. Several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, Panama and Paraguay, use a territorial system that generally taxes only income earned inside the country. With the right legal setup, income earned abroad may pay little or no tax where you live.
Getting there takes three things done together: genuinely leaving your current tax residence (and managing any exit or departure tax), establishing a new residence that the new country and any treaty recognize, and structuring how you earn so the income is not pulled back into the system you left.
Americans have one more layer: the United States taxes citizens wherever they live. Read leaving the United States. Canadians should start with leaving Canada. Learn the difference between tax residency and a residence permit.

Read articleIs reducing taxes by relocating legal?
Yes, when it is properly designed and implemented, with the professional work and reporting the strategy requires. Tax is generally owed where you are resident (or, for Americans, where you are a citizen). Changing where you live and how you earn, within the rules of each country involved, is lawful planning. Hiding income or pretending to live somewhere you do not is not, and we do not do it.
Can you get my tax rate to 1%?
In many cases, yes, it may be possible, depending on your circumstances. The Global Strategy identifies the opportunities based on your citizenship, residence, income, business and assets, and the changes they require. U.S. citizens stay taxable in the United States wherever they live, so their plan works differently; see leaving the United States.
Do I have to move?
Some advantages require relocation, but much can be done without moving. We assess both against your goals.
