José-Luis Méndez

José-Luis Méndez is a business development and innovation advisor with more than 15 years of international experience helping companies identify opportunities, strengthen capabilities and expand into new markets. He holds a master’s degree in Innovation Management from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, combining technical knowledge with a practical commercial perspective.

His work with the U.S.–Mexico Foundation for Science (FUMEC) has included leading aerospace initiatives, directing business development in Montréal and coordinating international advisory teams. His experience spans strategic planning, market intelligence, supplier development and technology roadmaps across aerospace, manufacturing, energy and technology. He helps clients evaluate growth opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and turn innovation into clear, actionable business plans.
